• A straight and calm posture expresses steadiness.

touches indicate tension. In the worst case, the interlocutor is
attempting to deceive.
Caution is advised when body language signals contradict
each other, such as the friendly facial expression and the
restless legs pressed together, the inviting hand movement and
the posed "portrait smile" - the friendliness may be faked.
