THE POWER OF READING PEOPLE

However, context matters when interpreting these signals. Don’t
rely on a single gesture but consider it alongside spoken words and
           other nonverbal behaviors.

These cues can help you interpret body language effectively:

               • An upright head suggests confidence.
               • A tilted head shows someone is paying attention.

               • A friendly face generally makes a person seem likable.

               • Clear, pronounced gestures suggest openness and honesty.

               • Crossed arms might show discomfort or defensiveness.
               • A steady posture conveys a sense of stability.

               • Touching the face often indicates anxiety and, in extreme
                  cases, dishonesty.

Be cautious if body language is inconsistent, such as a warm smile
paired with fidgety movements, as this could indicate insincerity.

Use insights on verbal and nonverbal communication, along with
your skills in asking questions and active listening, to better un-

derstand and connect with others, whether they’re job candidates,
           customers, or colleagues.

INTRODUCTION TO THE TTI DISC BEHAVIORAL
           CONTINUUM

To better describe the role the intensity of each color plays in your
behavioral style, TTI has designed the continuum graph, which will
help you better understand the behavioral tendencies based on the
intensity of the color in your graph. This model has been under
development since 2020 and is currently being refined for launch
