TURNING TTI SUCCESS INSIGHTS’ ASSESSMENTS INTO . . .

A primary reason TTI developed the continuum graphs was to rep-
resent all styles in a way that allows direct comparison. The horizon-
tal graphs have the same segments as the vertical graphs, however
the horizontal presentation makes it easier to see the contribution
of behavioral tendencies represented by scores on the left-hand side
               of each continuum.

The horizontal continuum graphs allow you to evaluate a person’s
behavioral style tendencies at a glance, and clearly show where the
strong tendencies are and how that person is adapting their behavior
               to their environment.

               THINK ABOUT IT!

To begin to understand other people’s body language, start with
your own. What does it mean about how you are feeling when you
cross your arms, meet someone’s eyes (or don’t), or fail to smile
when you greet someone? And, do you do these things always for
the same reason, or can it vary? Then, apply what you learned about

yourself to others—while they have different behavioral styles,
many of the reasons for mannerisms are not so different from one
               person to the next.
