FINDING THE RIGHT EMPLOYEES


                   •  Collaboration across the board, with all stakeholders work-
                       ing in unison to integrate employee development with the
                       company’s long-term plans and goals.

                   •  Coordination  to  ensure  that recruitment,  training,  and
                       professional development are aligned with the company’s
                       broader vision, core values, business principles, strategies,
                       and objectives.

                   •  A focus on the complete individual, beyond just filling a
                       vacancy. It’s essential that the employee fits the job perfectly,
                       with opportunities to fully utilize their technical, social, and
                       emotional skills. The aim is to engage the entire person, en-
                       compassing all their behaviors and behavioral traits.

               Job descriptions typically highlight qualifications like experience,
               education, and specific skills, which are then used to find the right
               fit for a role. This often means selecting candidates who match the
               experience level required or have been with the organization for a
               certain length of time. However, identifying and defining the behav-
               iors and motivations essential for a role is less common. When the

               behavioral inclinations and motivations of a role align with those of
               an individual, you foster engaged employees who are passionate and
               excel in their work.

               Without understanding the behavioral tendencies and motivational
               drives necessary for a role, it can be challenging to engage and de-
               velop employees, determine their suitability for promotion, and
               address issues like burnout, stress, conflict, and underperformance.
