THE POWER OF READING PEOPLE


               On the left side of the S dimension, the tendency is to be more
               variety-oriented, impatient, and excited when responding to
               pace or change. This is the dynamic style.

           Compliance/blue: This behavioral factor measures how an indi-
           vidual responds to procedures and constraints.

               On the right side of the C dimension, the tendency is to be
               systematic, precise, and detailed when responding to procedures
               and constraints. This is the rigorous style.


               On the left side of the C dimension, the tendency is to be more
               independent, pioneering, and freewheeling when responding to
               procedures and constraints. This is the experiential style.

           Below is an example of the continuum graphs. Bolded terms high-
           light the side of each continuum where your score falls. Chevrons
           below each graph show direction and degree of adaptation. Both the
           natural score (larger circle) and the adapted score (star) are shown
           for each dimension.
