STORY: BENCHMARKING A JOB FOR USE IN
32 COUNTRIES

Using the concept of aligning not just skills and experi-

ence of new hires but also the company’s vision, Vanessa
describes her experience of deploying a project in 32

countries simultaneously.

“ TTI Success Insights is a global organization with

presence all over the world, and they were experienc-

ing an expansion. They needed to recruit and train sales

engineers in 32 countries to reach the growth goals the
company had established.

“I worked closely with the organization to understand

their needs and implemented the job benchmarking pro-

cess to identify the behavioral traits and motivational and

cultural needs of the position.

“Please note that the position was exactly the same in all

32 countries, however, once the job benchmarking pro-
cess started, we identified that the requirements were not

only different in every country but also had significant

variations in different regions within the same country,

for example, between the north of France and the south

of France.”
