LANDER COUNTY COURTHOUSE + ADMINISTRATION
BUILDING

The Lander County Courthouse and Administration Building project, built for Lander County, included the new
construction of a 59,021 square foot municipal judicial facility located in Battle Mountain, Nevada. The facility
supports the offices of the County Commissioner, District Attorney, Public Defender, and Juvenile Office and
houses the Eleventh Judicial District Court and Argenta Justice Court. The judicial facility was constructed of a steel
structural frame on a spread and pier foundation, concrete masonry unit exterior skin, and single ply roof system.
The project also featured a law library, secure holding cells, and transportation areas as well as a 4,000 square foot
basement for additional storage space and a 100-kilowatt solar parking structure. Due to CORE’s dedication to our
clients, CORE was able to provide significant owner savings of over $3,000,000 to Lander County at the completion
of the County Courthouse and Administration Building project.
