EDWARDS DEMONSTRATION +
LEARNING CENTER

The Edwards Demonstration and Learning Center project, built for Caterpillar, Inc.,
included the new construction of a 23,000 square foot industrial office building located
in Edwards, IL. The facility functions as an executive meeting and training classroom
building for maintenance, operation, and machine applications for construction and
mining equipment. The industrial office building was constructed with wide windows
to maximize natural lighting in highly traversed common areas for social gatherings
and hospitality, as well as providing views of the natural landscape and earth-moving
equipment demonstration areas. The project also features a tele-presence room
with state-of-the-art technology, classrooms to accommodate up to 122 people,
meeting rooms, a dining area, and multipurpose room with a 200-person capacity.
The Edwards Demonstration and Learning Center project now provides a high-tech
training facility and meeting area for Caterpillar executives, clients, and employees.
