COMMERCIAL EXPERIENCE
THE LEVEE DISTRICT
The Levee District project, built for E. P. Downtown, LLC., included the new
construction of five commercial buildings, totaling 150,000 square feet,
as part of a new business development in downtown East Peoria, IL. The
development houses retail stores, such as Ross Dress for Less, Ulta Beauty,
Carter’s, Lane Bryant, and restaurants, including: Red Robin, Potbelly
Sandwich Shop, and Noodles and Company. The commercial buildings were
constructed on a concrete foundation with a steel structural frame and an
exterior comprised of stone, storefront windows, and an insulation and finish
system. Due to CORE’s continuous efforts to find cost savings during the
construction process, the Levee District project was completed on budget to
provide a vibrant shopping and dining experience for the community.
