BARFIELD HOTEL
The Barfield Hotel project, currently being built for Harmon Development, LLC, includes the
renovation of an 11-story, 90,000 square foot office building located in Amarillo, TX. The office
building, originally built in 1927, will be converted into a 112-room hotel. Renovations consist of
installing new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and restoring guest room window
frames and storefront windows at ground level. Finishes of this project will include millwork at the
reception desk and bar, mosaic floor tile, tuckpointing brick, stone, and cast stone. The project will
also feature a steel framed addition to the existing building with a brick facade for a service elevator
and a stairwell. The Barfield Hotel is anticipated to be complete in 2019.
