MULTIFAMILY EXPERIENCE
THE PRESERVE AT GRAND OAKS
The Preserve at Grand Oaks project, built for PGO, LLC, included the
new construction of a 112,250 square foot apartment complex located in
Valparaiso, Indiana. The facility houses six two-story apartment buildings,
12 vehicle garages, and one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment units.
The apartment complex was constructed on a slab on grade with footings
foundation and a wood frame. An exterior of brick veneer with wood siding
and an asphalt shingle roof completed the construction. The project also
featured vinyl flooring, stone countertops, balconies, and patios as well as
a fitness center, community room, and leasing office. Site work consisted of
the installation of a new public roadway into the complex and utilities. The
apartment complex was awarded the National Association of Home Builders
Silver Certification as a Green Community for energy, water, and indoor
environmental quality. Due to CORE’s construction efforts, the Preserve at
Grand Oaks now offers posh accommodations for residents.
