19. Battery and ECM harness to be disconnected in case of any welding/electrical maintenance work on
the vehicle.

20. While removing battery terminal, -ve terminal to be removed 1 and while fitment, +ve terminal to be

fitted 1 .

21. Get the electrical system checked if there is frequent Fault code count increasing.

22. Use genuine fuses of correct rating and color code. In case of frequent blowing of fuse, get the electrical
system checked.

23. In case of Check Engine Lamp (CEL) indicator ON/ blinking, park the vehicle on the safe side of the road
and switch OFF the ignition and wait for 30 seconds. Crank the engine again and observe whether the
Check Engine Lamp (CEL) indicator is still ON/blinking. If it continues to be ON/ blinking, then take the
vehicle to the nearest Tata Authorized Workshop.

24. If the red band of service indicator appears, take your vehicle to our nearest authorized workshop and
have the primary cartridge replaced.

25. When the air filter primary cartridge is replaced, destroy the old cartridge to prevent its reuse.

26. Replace the secondary cartridge after three replacements of primary cartridge. Do not clean the
secondary cartridge.

27. Ensure that air intake hoses are free from punctures, cuts and damages.

28. Get oil changed in engine, gear box and rear axle, at prescribed intervals with recommended oils.

29. In case of air lock in the fuel system, bleeding should be done at fuel filters only.

30. Always remove both battery terminals while doing any welding work on the vehicle.

31. Regen Inhibit switch is used to stop Ongoing Regeneration or completely avoid regeneration, This is
recommended to be used Only when there is hazardous goods loaded on the vehicle & HEST lamp
comes up

32. Stationary Regen switch is used to start Stationary Regen (Parked Regen). When DPF soot load is
increased and Driver witness DPF & DWS lamps. Ensure Safety before starting Regen.

33. Provision of 12 V/24 V supply In the vehicle near fuse box there is coupler provided with battery direct
supply (with 10 amp fuse protection) and ignition switch control supply are provided for electrical
accessories connection for body builder.

34. In case of fault in Electrical System check the respective fuse, the particulars of consumers served by
each fuse is printed on the fuse box cover.

35. Extra fuses are provided inside the fuse box, always use fuses of correct rating as indicated on fuse box
cover. Do not use higher rating fuses or wires as it can cause serious damage to the respective system.
