or affirmed. However, the sworn testimony can still
not be the Truth. People do not always tell the Truth.
What are your words affirming in your life today?
In the courtroom of life, we must affirm the Truth.
Our testimony must agree with what God has said,
or we will possess no victory. John, the Revelator,
affirmed that the believers overcame the Devil “by the
blood of the Lamb and by the word of their
testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the
death.” (12:11) God has already done His part. Jesus,
the Lamb of God, has died for you. Do you agree with
everything God has said the blood of Jesus has
accomplished? What are you affirming about it in
your life? What is your testimony today?
“You are of God, little children, and have overcome
them, because He who is in you is greater than he who
is in the world.” 1 John 4:4
DAY SIXTEEN:
Paul to Titus, "This is a faithful saying, and these
things I want you constantly to affirm,…”
WE AFFIRM WITH OUR WORDS
The primary way in which we affirm our belief in
or about something is with our words. Words are
containers. Our words contain our thoughts, ideas,
views, opinions, and beliefs. Consequently, it is not
hard to discover what occupies someone's thoughts
and what they believe. Eventually, it will flow forth
from their lips. What is in a person’s mind will get
into their heart. What is in someone's heart in
abundance will overflow from it right through their
lips.
What are your words affirming about what is in
your heart? Paul, quoting the Psalmist, affirmed this
Truth to the Corinthians. He affirmed to them the
