REFORMATION OF THE MIND BY THE SPIRIT AND THE WORD
Word that was in his heart.
“We have the same spirit of faith. As it is written, “I
believed, and therefore I have spoken. So we also
believe and therefore speak,…” 2 Corinthians 4:13
DAY SEVENTEEN:
Paul to Titus, "This is a faithful saying, and these
things I want you constantly to affirm,…”
AFFIRM CONSTANTLY
You cannot separate affirmation from words. Real
affirmation is words spoken continuously. That is
why Paul told Timothy to affirm repeatedly the things
he was teaching him.
The Greek word translated as “constantly affirm”
is διαβεβαιοομαι transliterated as (diabebaioomai)
́
and means, “to confirm thoroughly (by words), that is,
asseverate: - affirm constantly.”
There is power in affirmation. There is greater
power in the constant and consistent affirmation of
the Truth. This pleases God and brings great results
in our lives. “Let us be consistent and persistent with
our affirmation of the truth!” So be it!
“Let us firmly hold the profession of our faith
without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”
Hebrews 10:23
DAY EIGHTEEN:
Paul to Titus, "This is a faithful saying, and these
things I want you constantly to affirm,…”
CROSS-EXAMINATION
Again, you cannot separate affirmation from
words. Effective Biblical affirmation is the Truth
