REFORMATION OF THE MIND BY THE SPIRIT AND THE WORD

He was shedding new light on the principles God had
given His covenant people for hundreds of years. The
Old Testament saints knew about affirming the Truth
God had given to them. This method of writing God’s
Words on our hearts is still valid, especially when
interpreted through the lens of the new covenant
reality of the indwelling of Christ. In the new
covenant, the Word that God has spoken is on the
outside, but it is also inside. For the believer, it is in
our mouths and in our hearts. The Word of God we
need for salvation, healing, wholeness, deliverance,
liberation, soundness, and preservation is very near
us. He has sent His Word to heal us. We can affirm
the Truth, and it will change us.
                 5
“ For Moses writes about the righteousness which
is based on the law: “The man who does those things
shall live by them.” But the righteousness which is
                                  6
based on faith says, “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who
will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ
down), or, ‘Who will descend into the deep?’ ” (that
                     7
is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does
                                                  8
it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in
your heart.” This is the word of faith that we
preach: that if you confess with your mouth Jesus is
                      9
Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised
Him from the dead, you will be saved, 10 for with the
heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the
mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
                                                                       Romans 10:5-10

              DAY TWENTY:

Paul to Titus, "This is a faithful saying, and these
things I want you constantly to affirm,…”

THE OLD IS IN THE NEW REVEALED
