INWARD TRANSFORMATION

our minds and our mouths. The Hebrew word
                                                         ̂
translated as meditate in Joshua 1:8 is hagah. It
                                                      ̂
means “to murmur (in pleasure or anger); by
implication, to ponder: - imagine, meditate, mourn,
mutter, roar, X sore, speak, study, talk, utter.”
Notice the connection between meditation and
muttering. That which we think about gets into our
mouths. And, that which we keep saying over and
over gets embedded into our minds. Our mouths and
          our minds are connected.
The believer has the power to choose their words.
We can decide what gets embedded into our minds.
We can choose the transformation that comes by
renewing our minds by selecting to continually affirm
what God says about Himself, ourselves, others, sin,
righteousness, the world, life, and anything else.
Let’s get our minds and mouths established on the
right stuff and watch the transformation and
wholeness it brings into our lives.
“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of
my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my
strength and my Redeemer.” Psalm 19:14

          DAY TWENTY-THREE:

Paul to Titus, "This is a faithful saying, and these
things I want you constantly to affirm,…”

HELP FROM THE SPIRIT OF GRACE

Paul was a Jew. He had learned God’s system of
Truth according to the old covenant methods. He had
worked hard to do the right things. He had been
committed and was purposeful in learning God’s law.
But he needed more. He needed the Helper in his life
in a new and more extraordinary way than the old
          covenant could provide.
He loved God and committed himself fully. But he
