said it this way, “God said it. I believe it. And that
settles it.” I like that.
“Since then we have a great High Priest who has
passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us
hold firmly to our confession.” Hebrews 4:14

DAY TWENTY-SIX:

Paul to Titus, "This is a faithful saying, and these
things I want you constantly to affirm,…”

HIS WORD IS ALIVE AND POWERFUL

Why does affirming what God has said have such
a powerful effect on us? Because His Word is alive!
As I agree with Him and repeat His sayings, I am
changed, transformed, and I experience reforming in
my thinking. I can wait for God to do something, or I
can use what He has given me. Many wait and wait
for God to do something about their minds and their
lives and change very little in the process. “Faith
without works is dead.” As you take His Word and
constantly affirm it in your life, it changes you and
your world. It changes your soul, renews your mind,
and transforms everything with which it comes into
contact.
“For the word of God is alive, and active, and
sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to
the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow,
and able to judge the thoughts and intents of the
heart.” Hebrews 4:12
