REFORMATION OF THE MIND BY THE SPIRIT AND THE WORD
doing better than we are. It should be hard. The life
of faith is humanly impossible. Without God’s help,
we cannot do it. But, thank God, we are not without
His help. He has given us so much to help us. We
have His Spirit and His Word. He will get us to where
we need to be. As we meditate on His Word and allow
His Spirit to transform our thinking, we will have His
thoughts and desires. That is inward transformation.
And it works out in real life. It goes from desires,
ideas, and words into actions that change your
world. Hallelujah! We begin to do what He desires
because our desires begin to be His desires. Trust the
process. It works!
“ 12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always
obeyed, not only in my presence, but so much more in
my absence, work out your own salvation with fear
and trembling. 13 For God is the One working in you,
both to will and to do His good pleasure.”
Philippians 2:12-13
DAY THIRTY-FIVE:
Paul to Titus, "This is a faithful saying, and these
things I want you constantly to affirm,…”
HE’S STILL WORKING ON ME
If we submit, He will finish the job. Our
responsibility is to present our bodies as a living
sacrifice. That’s not a dead sacrifice. It is a living one
because we are still here. If we were dead, we would
already be in Heaven and wouldn’t need this inward
transformation. We are living for Him here on Earth.
He is teaching us to live for Him by living from Him.
His Spirit is within us, applying the Truth to our
minds. None of us are a finished product yet. But we
can be confident that God will complete the job. We
