REFORMATION OF THE MIND BY THE SPIRIT AND THE WORD
PART THREE
DEVELOPING YOUR AFFIRMATIONS
Now I want to share some basic instructions that
I hope will help you develop your daily affirmations.
You will discover specific promises that speak
personally to you. Other ones, you need to find and
repeat until they became a part of your renewed
mind. Below are some basic affirmations to help you
get started. You will need to develop your own list.
Speaking them aloud daily over an extended period
works. But don't ever stop. Make them a part of your
life forever. Faith is always relevant. Don’t ever
drawback.
Let me share three thoughts that I believe will
help. I will follow with some examples of basic
affirmations and additional ideas.
1. Be Deliberate. When dealing with a specific
need, find the promise that fits. Plan it. Be
calculated. Be clear.
2. Be Expectant. Don’t try to produce the results.
Relax but expect change to occur. Recognize the
difference in your attitude that will come. That’s
transformation!
3. Be Committed. Make this a lifestyle, not a fad.
Dig into the Word and find your affirmations. Let God
speak to you personally through His Word.
BASIC AFFIRMATIONS SAMPLING
I think the first four are a great way to start the
day as we get out of bed. You will find what works
best for you, and it will change at times. Be open to
the leading of the Holy Spirit. He wants to help you.
