MEDICAL
Clinic
Any student who becomes ill during the school day should obtain a note from
his/her teacher to go to the clinic. The school nurse will determine the student's
status and advise the student to return to class or released the student to a
parent/guardian. Parental contact will be made to arrange for early dismissal if
the school nurse determines it is necessary.
Medicine
A Medication Request Form is provided to parents when the child's doctor has
determined that the medication must be administered during the school day.
Parents must request this form from the school or obtain a copy from the district
website in order for the school nurse to administer medication. Students are not
permitted to self-carry any medication without proper school approval.
School Insurance
School insurance forms will be handed out on the first day of school. You have
the option to purchase insurance through the designated school insurer. School
time plan $9.00 per year-Regular Benefit; $42.00 24-Hour plan w/o dental;
$47.00 24-hour plan w/dental - $35.00 High School Football Plan – contact
Athletics & Activities office. *all fees subject to fee changes per bid
ATLETICS AND ACTIVITIES
Activity Bus
The High School Activity Bus has been implemented to help facilitate
transportation for students who wish to participate in co-curricular and extra-
curricular activities sponsored by the school.
The activity bus will depart from the school at 5:00 pm, Monday through
Thursday with the exception of early dismissal days. The activity bus will drop
students at satellite stops designated for each school. A list of satellite bus stops
can be found on the school’s website. Each student will need to communicate
their preferred stop to the activity bus driver/sponsor prior to boarding.
