Operating Guide for the JNN-Q25 Voice Recorder



                  •  Turn the On-Off button to Play

                  •  Bring up the settings menu by simultaneously pressing A(+) and B (-) to stop the
                      playback and pressing them a second time to enter the settings menu;

                  •  Uses the A(+) button to scroll to “Vox Settings” then press B(-)

                  •  When the correct data and time has been entered, move the On-Off switch to the
                      left and then turn the device off

                  •  The recording will be saved in a single compressed file
              The voice activation option is not always reliable. An alternative is to leave the device in the
              RECORD MODE and to load the audio file into a program such as Wave Pad Sound Editor.
              The DISPLAY will show when sound is detected.

              Relevant audio can be saved into a separate file. However, if the recording might be
              required for legal proceedings the complete, original audio file should be retained (see
              paragraph xx).

              10.11 Setting Record Quality (Menu Option 4)
              The quality of the recording can be adjusted: the higher the bits per second (bps) the better
              the quality: but this results in a larger file. To change the record quality:
                  •  Turn the On-Off button to Play

                  •  Bring up the settings menu by simultaneously pressing A(+) and B (-) to stop the
                      playback and pressing them a second time to enter the settings menu;

                  •  Uses the A(+) button to scroll to “4- Record Quality” then press B(-)
                  •  Use A(+) to scroll to the required quality- chose 4:192bps

                  •  Press A(+) to set

                  •  When the correct date
                      and time has been entered, move the On-Off switch to the left and then turn the
                      device off
              10.12 Select Segment (Menu Option 5)

              The device can be programmed to limit the length of a recording. This is a default feature
              with automatic record and this option applies to VOX and other recordings. To select it:
                  •  Set segment length---- minutes

                  •  Max is 900 minutes or 15 hours

                  •  When used
