10 SETTINGS

10.1 General
The instructions provided by the manufactures are misleading but are attached for
information (Appendix A).
• The JNN-Q25 has eleven options in the SETTINGS MAIN MENI (see Table xx). Page | 13
These can be modified BUT only while the device is in the PLAY mode.

• Some changes can be made in the SETTINGS MAIN MENU (in shaded rows on Table
xx) and others in the SETTINGS SUB-MENU, where there are further options:

TAKE GREAT CARE IN ACCESSING OR CHANGING SETTINGS: especially passwords
and language;

10.2 Reviewing Current Settings
It is good practice to review the current settings before a new recording session. You are
advised--- A B and A and B Settings Maim Menu

10.3 Opening the SETTINGS MAIN MENU

• Press and hold the A(+) and B(-) buttons at the same time until the COUNTER stops.
Then press and hold the A(+) and B(-) buttons again. This opens the SETTINGS
MAIN MENU:
• Scroll down through the SETTINGS MAIN MENU using the A (+) button to locate
the option you want to change;

• When an option scrolls from right to left it is “active”; You can only amend a
highlighted option;

• To select an active option in the SETTINGS MAIN MENU:
1 Systems time

3 Voice activation (VOX)
5 Segment length

8 Delete file

9 Delete all files
B Exit

• Press the B(-) button and press A(+) to activate

10.4 Moving to the SETTINGS SUBMENU
• To select an option in the SETTINGS SUBMENU, press the relevant B(-) button in the
SETTINGS MAIN MENU;

• Again, the DISPLAY scrolls from right to left. To change the active sub-option press
A(+);

• ONLY THE SCROLLING ITEM CAN BE CHANGED (it is said to be the “active
option”). To select it press the B(-) button. To move to the next sub-option, press
