Tuition Assistance Program Tuition
The Tuition Assistance Program is available for the beneit of

employees that have expressed an interest in continuing their formal Assistance
education at an accredited school of higher learning. When the Program
conditions stated below are satisied, tuition reimbursement will be
made upon the successful completion of courses which are deemed to
be job-related.


All full-time employees (that work at least 30 hours per week) that
have worked at the community for at least 12 continuous months and
that have performed at a satisfactory level are eligible to apply for the
Tuition Assistance Program, pending management approval.


Only accredited institutions that grant doctoral, graduate,
undergraduate, or associate degrees and are recognized by a state board
of education and/or state licensure board qualify under this program.


To qualify for reimbursement, course or degree programs must be
pertinent to the employee’s current job with the company or support

the employee’s advancement within the company. The employee’s
manager will determine if a course or degree program is pertinent, but
the Division Vice President will be inal authority.


The following conditions will apply.

X The educational program must not interfere with the employee’s
ongoing job responsibilities

X Courses begun during or before the irst year of employment will
not be reimbursable
X Employees may be reimbursed for up to two courses each semester,
up to a maximum of twelve hours per calendar year; additionally,

the reimbursement will be limited to $2,000 per year per
employee and be limited to $10,000 per division (ALF) See following

X Tuition reimbursement excludes expenses for room and board, page for more
books, fees, and other expenses not considered tuition conditions.
