Ministry Of Culture Ends National Reading Month 2025 With Reading
Ambassadors Initiative Launch

To wrap up Reading Month 2025, the Ministry of Culture (MOC) launched the Reading
Ambassadors Initiative in partnership with the Supreme Council for Motherhood and
Childhood and the Federal Youth Authority.
The goal of this initiative is to promote a love for reading by selecting well-known
individuals as mentors and literacy supporters. Through its efforts, MOC hopes to inspire
communities and encourage people of all ages to make reading a part of their daily
routines, WAM reported.
The first edition of the initiative includes Reading Ambassadors chosen from four main
groups: writers and pioneers, youth, volunteers, and children. These ambassadors will help
spread reading habits in the community by creating and running meaningful projects
through different platforms.
