Lesser-known spots
Restaurants, bars and theatres in central London buzz continuously, and the range of events on
offer – from sport to food pop-ups, from music festivals to theatre – is unbeatable. For lesser-
known spots you only need to look beyond zone one, to Brixton and Dulwich in south London or to
Shoreditch, Dalston and Hackney in east London. And despite its moniker as the big smoke, there
are wild spaces across the city – visit Camley Street Natural Park, Dalston Curve Garden,
Sydenham Hill Wood and Walthamstow Wetlands.
