in awe of our self-assurance and all-around coolness, so everyone just
came together and partied from the 10th to the 12th grade.
As Giselle and I traveled from Kinston to Washington, Giselle
became violently ill; we had to stop at a gas station. She stayed in the
bathroom at the gas station for three hours; her stomach had begun
to cramp. She would always do this when she was experiencing
stressful situations.
She was sick like that even on her wedding day, to the point where
her cousin had to go and get some Pepto Bismol before the ceremony.
That should have been her sign of what was to come. When we
returned from Kinston, Giselle told me that she was working from
home in the office and lo and behold Leroy's cell phone bill is on the
floor, I thought she had stopped looking after she got it straight with
Leroy's little hoochie, Ms. Moore before leaving for Vail in August.
She picked up the cell phone bill which included the months of
August, September, and October.
She examined the August and September cell phone bills, and
Leroy had contacted Ms. Moore on the morning she left for Vail and
he had left for Florida. He had also continued to speak with her when
they were moving into their new office space at CGS and he had
contacted Ms. Moore at 2:00 am during the weekend we were in
Kinston for the class reunion. I think that was the last straw for G
