That’s Crazy
Giselle was never sure where Leroy stood because he was so
quiet. I could never read him either. I remember, before they married,
she told him she needed to see him angry. Throughout the entire time,
she had known him she had never seen him truly angry. He was so
good at covering all emotions, especially because he always had to live
up to his "Mr. Perfect" image. I know Giselle felt Leroy was more
dangerous than Jerome because Jerome was so obvious with what he
was doing, but with Leroy, you just never knew.
Giselle and I had arranged to meet crazy Leroy at the house at
9:00 am. As we drove up to the house, I could see his truck parked
outside in the driveway.
We knocked on the door, he came to the door and we entered.
As we entered, we were both shocked. The house was in total chaos.
There were piles and piles of paper and trash in every room. He had
attempted to paint this big house by himself. It looked as though he
was totally drunk as he painted his mansion. There was paint on the
wood trim and carpet throughout the house. The stove in the kitchen
had food built on top of it and looked as though it had not been
cleaned since Giselle left. He had unsuccessfully tried to place a wood
frame around the mirror in the master bedroom. It might have looked
nice had he not used glue. The glue was stuck all over the mirror. The
bathrooms were so filthy and dirty, I was afraid to use them. Who
would have thought one person could do this much damage in nine
months.
