The OMG gives the student ownership of his or her math! The student builds, it, the
student keeps it, and the student uses it. They own the math!

EXPLORE Engineering: Mathematics in the Real World
This session will introduce teachers to the EXPLORE lab program. EXPLORE is an
program geared towards middle school students, where they learn to use the
engineering design process to become critical thinkers. The EXPLORE program has
activities that cover middle school math and sciences standards, while also
introducing students to the world of engineering. These lessons teach students how
engineers use math and science to solve everyday problems.
