Changing Your Assessment Mindset: A Workshop for
Evaluating Items in Grades 6-8 and Algebra 1
The SCDE Office of Assessment’s mathematics test developers will help participants
evaluate items consistent with the way they are evaluated for SC READY and EOCEP.
Participants will consider items for characteristics such as content alignment, use of
mathematical processes, rigor, universal design, and cognitive complexity.
