Personalized Professional Learning To Improve
Teaching and Learning in Math
This session will address how South Carolina math teachers can demonstrate
competency and/or improve their teaching through personalized professional
learning and the advent of micro-credentials and the platform that has been built
for South Carolina leaders and learners that represents this change. Professional
development for educators is changing with an emphasis on personalized learning.
The days of every educator in a “one size fits all” workshop is going away and being
replaced with focused personalized learning.

Data Review Reports and How to Use Them
Effectively.
The SCDE Office of Assessment’s mathematics test developers will introduce new
South Carolina teachers to our Assessment Pages and the resources available there.
We will include a discussion of past Data Review reports and how to use them
effectively. Teachers will also be shown how to apply for Content Review and Data
Review Committees
