                                            Thinking Mathematically Together

                                  Session 12 will be held in Lexington B Room from 10:10 - 11:00.
                                           EdVenture’s Math Games


               Teachers will par�cipate in EdVenture’s popular Math Games program which

               provides a chance to apply math concepts to real-life problems and puzzles.
               Par�cipants will work in teams in a compe��ve game show format to solve a
               series of challenges that require cri�cal thinking and crea�vity, seeing how

               mathema�cs is a part of everyday life.  Grades K - 5

                  Naviga�ng Numeracy Through Progressions and Meaningful
                                                        Prac�ce


               Experience engaging, hands-on centers and numeracy games designed to develop

               number and opera�on concepts.  New centers from hand2mind, developed by
               Sue O’Connell, explore numeracy through progressions to build meaningful

               mental strategies.  These differen�ated, ready-to-use centers can be used mul�ple
               �mes and are both effec�ve and fun! Grades 3 - 5
