-REDEMPTION-
Since I had never written a book, and did not know any-
thing about writing or selling a book, I had to do a great deal
of research on the subject. After that was done, I then began
the task of writing the first draft. In order to assure accuracy I
brushed up on the facts concerning this case and incorporated
my firsthand knowledge and crafted it so that a reader could
see the story unfold just as it was being played out behind the
scenes in 1993.
On more than one occasion I considered bowing out of the
project because of the emotional stress and anxiety the pro-
cess was causing me... but I persevered, figuring that time
would eventually heal all wounds. Something inside me was
continually gnawing at me, forcing me to complete a task that
might have been given to me as a part of my destiny.
As I have mentioned before, I personally do not know
Michael Jackson and do not know anyone that knows him. I
just want the world to know what I have known for years. No
matter what the press may say about Michael Jackson, I can
emphatically attest to his innocence in this case because I was
there.
During the outbreak of the child molestation allegations
every news media outlet, tabloid magazine and reporter from
around the world was trying to get a statement from the Chan-
dler camp. Not only did the Chandler camp avoid the news
media like the plague, they also refrained from making a state-
ment and/or stating their position in any way, either about
the allegations of sexual abuse or the lesser reported custody
battle over the 13-year old Chandler boy that was going on at
the same time.
It wasn't until the 13-year old boy sought representation
by the well-known child attorney, Gloria Allred, that some-
one came forth to defend the boy's position. Gloria Allred
stated that, "I'm ready and willing to go forward with the trial."
However, within a couple of days of making that statement,
she withdrew from the case. Reason, unknown!
Michael Jackson, on the other hand, came forth on several
occasions, personally and through his attorneys and investi-
