taking place (referred to in Mary Fisher's article: Was Michael
Jackson Framed? in Gentlemen's Quarterly, as the diary). I have
no idea why I felt the need to take notes of events and state-
ments because at that time I had no idea of what was on the
horizon other than the outcome of the custody battle that was
taking place. I was merely noting dates for my own recollec-
tion. I can, however, declare truthfully that my 1993 calendar
book has not been written in since 1993.
All entries in my 1993 calendar book were written in chro-
nological sequence and can stand the scrutiny of a forensic ink
dating test. In other words, the calendar book that has been
widely referred to has not been altered, and the entries were
initially made for my own reference and to jar my own memory
prior to my knowledge of the child molestation allegations
being launched against Michael Jackson.
No one was privy to the information contained in this book
except my immediate family and close friends who helped me
live with the emotional anxiety that I encountered while work-
ing with Mr. Rothman during the onset of this case. My only
outlet was confiding with my mother and close friends. My
mother's assistance was instrumental in giving me the strength
to contact the investigation team working for Michael Jackson
when the news of the child molestation allegations surfaced.
Just the knowledge of typing letters and court documents
that sparked the child molestation allegation was troublesome
to me. Although suspicious, I had no idea that the case would
turn out the way it did or that it was leading anywhere near
what would come to pass. The only thing that was clear to me
in spite of all the office secrecy was the child custody battle.
The allegation of child abuse was being played out below the
surface so as not to draw any attention, even to the in-house
office staff.
Something that was, and still is, very puzzling to me was
why did the public, experts and the media ignore obvious facts
that pointed to Michael Jackson's innocence, (that I will ad-
dress in detail later)? I realize that we live in a society that
loves to see giants fall, especially if that giant is African-Ameri-
