- REDEMPTION -

sis, ever since his childhood, finds enjoyment in the pureness
and innocence of a child's company?
This type of affection is especially common for someone
who did not or does not have children of their own. People
like this tend to adopt other people's children as their own. In
Michael Jackson's case, he always had a child around him that
he favored and who would ultimately become his traveling
companion. At one time it used to be his monkey, at another
me it was Brook Shields. Different companions-same lov-
                          ins Michael Jackson.
There is no doubt that the penal system is unfair to poor
people who are unable to hire private attorneys to defend their
case. In Michael Jackson's case, he had the best lawyers and
investigators that money could buy, but you will not begin to
understand an important piece of the puzzle as to why Michael
Jackson settled the case until you read the chapter entitled,
Legally Speaking. I went into great detail to help people that
are not familiar with the United States Justice System to un-
derstand what was taking place in the court system that caused
Michael Jackson's lawyers to advise him to settle the case rather
than proceed with the case. There had to be a reason other
than credible evidence. If they had obtained credible evidence
of his guilt, Michael Jackson would have been indicted and
tried criminally by the D.A.'s office.
In my opinion, the only thing worse than someone being
crucified for a crime they did not commit, is being crucified
for a crime they were not even charged with.
One reason I am coming forth with this book is to set the
record straight. It is also my hope that Redemption will do just
as it implies-redeem and bring closure, healing and repen-
                          tance for all involved.
Several articles and books have been written expressing
beliefs of Michael Jackson's innocence. Only someone from the
inside can accurately explain the chain of events that led up to
the child molestation allegations. Absent any physical evidence
supporting the child molestation allegations, all angles of the
case must be explored and given equal weight. I will examine
