               Put a period between the two sentences. Use a capital letter to begin

               the new sentence.

               In each sentence, underline the spot where the run-on (fused

               sentence) or comma splice occurs. Write RO in the blank to the left of
               the sentence if it is a run-on, CS if it is a comma splice. Then correct

               each sentence using a period and a capital letter.




                                        1. Brittany slid a toasted marshmellow onto the

                        chocolate square on her graham cracker, she declared that she
                        had made the perfect s’more.
