Self-service web portals allow users to quickly provision
services such as a new virtual web server needed for an upcoming
marketing campaign. Software distribution including patching is

maintained by the cloud provider; local IT is no longer responsible for
testing, deploying, and monitoring new software installations and
updates. Take note that local IT staff should be monitoring the use of
cloud services to ensure that the performance and availability align with

the SLA, which in turn meets business needs.

The CLO-001 exam is sure to test your knowledge of which IT processes

will change with cloud adoption. Make sure you know the names of the
IT processes, how they might change, and which service management
phase they belong to.
