Wete Haare, Private #30204, enlisted in the NZ Rifle Brigade. Embarking
from Wellington on board the Athenic to England. He fought on the Western
Front and died aged 78yrs in Wellington and is buried in Tinopai.
Wete’s; daughter Rihi Wete Haare is the wife of Haimona Puhipi.
