Leopold Busby, Private #801608, as a young man enlisted in the 28th Maori Battalion. He
fought and died aged 21yrs in northern Italy in a town called Faenza and is buried in the town's
war cemetery.
Leopold; is the son of Rihi Wete Haare and Haimona Puhipi.
