STAFF SUMMER SABBATICAL GRANTS

One grant of $4,000 is awarded annually to a full-time member of the non-teaching staff. This grant is meant
to provide the same kind of benefit for the staff as the Nozko grants provide for the faculty. It is awarded on
the basis of seniority. Recipients are expected to provide documentation appropriate for the disbursement of
these school funds prior to July 31.

The amount awarded will be subject to annual operating budget constraints and may not be awarded in each
        fiscal year.
        Note:

            1. This grant IS considered taxable income and awards will be added to employee gross
wages and reported on form W-2.
            2. Beginning with the academic year 2009, employees will not change designations for these
purposes, and will maintain their seniority within their original peer group.

        Study Grants, Workshops, and Conferences
It is school policy to budget each year, if general financial conditions permit, a sum of money to support
employee study programs. Grants to individuals at any one time may not exceed the cost of tuition for one
three-credit hour course per semester or $350. This amount is at the discretion of the Head of School and the
Division Heads. The grant is for the cost of tuition and travel only; it does not include books, parking, or other
fees. (Funds awarded for workshops and conferences, however, may include the cost of travel.) In any year, if
requests for grants exceed available funds, an equitable distribution of those funds may result in a grant of
less than the amount specified previously. It is unlikely that available funds will permit the approval of study
grants to a single individual in each academic term: fall, spring, summer. As a general rule, therefore,
employees should assume that the school would support graduate study for no more than two terms in any
year, and never in three successive terms. Recipients are expected to provide the Head of School with
documentation appropriate to support the disbursement of these school funds within a reasonable time, prior
        to the event.

        Summer Grants
Summer professional development grants are available for educational enhancement activities of Renbrook
faculty. Awards are granted by a team comprised of the Head of School, Division Heads, and Chief Financial
Officer, and based on the merits of the applications, total cost, prior receipt of grants in the past and overall
best interests of the school. Recipients are expected to provide the Head of School and Division Heads
documentation appropriate for the disbursement of these school funds within one week of completion.

        Tuition Remission Policy
Approved by the Board of Trustees on May 15, 2013.

The current tuition remission benefit (one student per faculty/staff family; family pays 3.5% plus the cost of
lunch, and the school pays the balance of 96.5% / two-year vesting to receive remission for new faculty/staff)
will be replaced with a revised benefit beginning with the 2014-15 school year for tuition only; all other
ancillary costs/expenses are the responsibility of the employee.

The new benefit will phase in by grade level beginning in 2014-15 and ending in 2021-22 according to the
        schedule noted below.
