HOUSES
Walton
Walton House has had an unforgettable
year, filled with exciting trips and memorable
experiences. We cheered on Watch Street
FC U18 in the FA Youth Cup and watched
England U20 rugby in Bath. Year group meals
brought us together, while house steak nights
were a highlight. The all-you-can-eat pizza
van and Ollie’s Lollies ice cream truck visits
added extra fun. Walton warmly welcomed
the Monument family, making them feel at
home in our beautiful countryside setting. A
heartfelt thank you to the group tutors and
liaisons for their dedication in providing a safe,
supportive environment for the boys to thrive.
Warner
Warner House has truly matured into a brilliant
and eclectic mix of talent, spirit, and character.
The house has felt full of energy, warmth, and
community from the start – a home away from
home for all. One of the year’s early highlights
came from the new-look Sports Jamborees, where
Warner pulled together brilliantly in exciting
new events. On the sports field, our success has
been wide-ranging – from tennis and hockey to
fencing, athletics, netball, and badminton. With
first team captains in hockey, fencing, netball, and
rugby, Warner students have truly led from the
front this year. Sunrise running remains a staple,
helping to start our days with energy and calm in
equal measure. Warner’s presence was strongly
felt at House Song – with our students leading the
Chamber Choir. Enrichment and charity work have
played a big part in Warner life: students have led
activities in local care homes, primary schools, and
the Prep School with real warmth and purpose.
The year has been filled with special birthdays,
house trips to Bristol, Christmas balls, formals,
international dinners, and countless moments of
fun and laughter. FIve of our Upper Sixth students
became Senior Prefects, and we’ve had not one,
but two Captains of School this year: Makenzy and
Mahay. Warner House continues to thrive, grow,
and shine.
