Orchards
Some of the characteristics of an ‘Orchards
Gentleman’, that form our house values,
are wanting to help others, displaying
compassion, empathy and generosity. These
values have consistently been the guiding
principles for the boys and the great success
that Orchards has enjoyed though all aspects
of school life have been a product of living to
these values.

Charity continues to provide some of the
most memorable experiences, with the
boys pulling together to present on different
aspects of men’s health during Movember, a
mo-themed pool competition to raise money
for the Movember movement and every boy
taking part in a local charity swim event to
raise money for CALM.

Overleigh

Overleigh has enjoyed a successful and
memorable year, filled with achievements and joy.
Academically, girls have flourished, demonstrating
dedication and excellence. Musical and dramatic
talents shone in concerts, plays and recitals, while
sporting events saw outstanding performances
and team spirit.

In-house treats like doughnuts, fruit platters, and
film nights brought everyone together, and our
annual ice-skating trip and gingerbread house
competition created many moments of fun and
relaxation. Strong friendships have blossomed,
with girls from all year groups forming supportive
bonds and socialising with ease. The warm,
inclusive atmosphere in Overleigh has made
it a true home, where every girl feels valued,
connected, and proud to belong.
