HOUSES

The Grange
The Grange has been a vibrant and welcoming
home to nine Lower Sixth girls this year, all new
to boarding but embracing every opportunity
with enthusiasm. The house spirit shone through
as they reached the final of the house debating
competition, and they enjoyed success across
tennis, hockey, athletics and cricket. Beyond
the sports field, many engaged in enrichment
activities such as lectures and Brilliance Breakfasts,
and several volunteered at school events and in
the wider community. Three girls completed their
Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award. It’s been a year
full of growth, service, and achievement in The
Grange.

The Lakes

It has been another brilliant year with our
girls excelling their various spheres of interest:
on sports’ fields, in concerts, plays and
performances throughout the year.

The refreshed format for House matches has
been a positive change, enabling more girls to
be part of this important facet of house and
school life. We have been delighted to win
many events throughout the year, including,
Best Chamber Choir, Junior and Senior
Debating, House Drama, and several sports’
events too!
This has been another great year for The
Lakes, and we are proud of the kindness,
authenticity and brilliance of our girls.
