When most people hear that acupuncture may


            help Parkinson's disease, they have two questions.

            How Acupuncure helps treat Parkinson's


            disease:





                The body has numerous electrical flows within

            the extracellular matrix and the support cells of the

            brain. Here we are not talking about the neurons


            themselves but an electrical flow within the

            perineural or support cells as well as the ECM.


            Decades ago, an orthopedic surgeon by the name of

            Robert Becker demonstrated that these electrical


            signals change when a tissue is injured or diseased.

            This change in the electrical signals helps the cells


            of the injured or diseased tissue understand how

            their behavior needs to change in order to repair or


            compensate for the injury or recover from the
