Stage 3: The Deposition Phase

environment, etc) the toxins continue to build up in

the extracellular matrix. Notice that this a step

beyond the reaction phase. You not only have

something that the body does not want but that

something is building up inside of the body over

During the deposition phase, there are not many

overt symptoms, You don't feel much. Lab tests do

not show any abnormalities and there is usually

little to no loss of function. There is, however, one

obvious sign to show that you are in the deposition

phase. The body of your tongue becomes puffy.

This is due to the fact that whenever there is extra

material in the spaces of the body, the body will

also hold extra water in that space. In chemistry,

this is called osmosis.

Take a moment and go look at your tongue. It

should be a light pink color and the sides, center,
