Whether it’s an Irish cap or a McCalmont Cup (something
former Callan man Lee Delaney has both of and indeed the
aforementioned Wall!) football provides young boys and girls
with the most powerful platform of all – the chance to dream.
Doing all that takes work, however, not just on the field but off
it too. Making those dreams become reality takes dedication,
not just of the players but from the people behind the scenes
too. That work takes money too
It’s all about playing a part, giving kids the chance to be a part
of something – their club. That’s a goal worth aiming for every
time…
