The template must be used with all firearms

transactions requiring a 4473 gun form.

This will help in reducing errors and help in

being in compliant with ATF Regulations.

 Pistol grip shotguns equipped with only a pistol grip are restricted to 21 years of age or older if

being sold or redeemed from pawn. (FFL Newsletter Feb 1999, Vol 1)

For this reason First Cash does not allow the sale or acceptance for pawn of this firearm.

 Pistol grip shotguns are considered to be assault weapons. If a customer wishes to pawn or sell

one we need to have the shoulder stock also. If the shoulder stock cannot be supplied then do

not accept the pistol grip shotgun. If the pistol grip shotgun does come out for sale the pistol grip

should be removed and replaced with the shoulder stock in order to sell it. You can supply the

customer with the separate pistol grip when it sells

 For Questions 16 & 24 Pistol Grip Shotguns with the pistol grip installed are to be listed as “Other.”
