must have the qualities of leadership such as five kinds of power, four kinds of
predominance, and, the tenfold virtue of ruler according to Buddhist scripture.
The western leadership scholars: Warren G. Bennis also agreed that leaders
come in every size, shape, and disposition short, tall, neat, sloppy, young, old, male,

and female. But leader must understand the basic ingredient of leadership such as

guiding vision, passion, integrity, curiosity and daring. And John C. Maxwell assumed
that “Everyone is capable of achieving great things. It doesn’t matter what one’s age,
gender, nationality, or ethnicity is. It doesn’t matter how much or how little money one

has. Everyone can be a leader of change.”
The Lord Buddha was not only a religious leader, but also psychotherapist
and advisor of all perspectives for the benefit of beings. Therefore, he was the best norm
for all leaders. He advised to his followers “Caratha bhikkhave cārikaṁ
bahujanahitāya bahujanasukhāya lokānukampāya atthāya hitāya sukhāya
devamanussānaṁ.” Go, Ghikkhus, and wander for the benefit and happiness of many
people, out of compassion for the world, for the welfare, benefit, and happiness of

Devas and men. By his admonishing the Sangha organization is alive over 2500 years
until nowadays. It is certainly people in this world need a leader. The leader is necessary
for mankind for the benefit of achieving both spiritual and physical goal. But it is rarely
to meet a good and successful leader who can lead the adherents properly.
Present problems will not be solved without successful organizations, and

organizations cannot be successful without effective leadership. Mainly, the role of a
leader is to solve the serious problem peacefully. “When a leader values integrity, they
will react strongly when a colleague lies or cheats. A leader who values being caring
and empathic will often be the first to console and support a team member who is very
