                       There are so many dimensions to discover deeply about Buddhist leadership without

                       violation in Theravāda Buddhist scripture will go deeper in Chapter III. Even though,
                       recently, these is one of the research, master’s thesis, about Buddhist leadership in 2019,

                       it is showed that effective Buddhist leadership by limitation with seven conditions of

                                                                                                        13
                       welfare (Aparihāniya-Dhamma) and left many rooms for others to do further research.
                                 Thus, this thesis will describe more about what is the qualities and roles of

                       the successful leader, how could the subordinates assume who is a good leader and what
                       are the strategies and practice of successful leaders in both sides which are western

                       scholars’ ideas and Theravāda perspectives.

                       1.2  Research Questions


                                 1.2.1 What are the concepts of leadership in Western ideas?

                                 1.2.2 What are the concepts of leadership in Theravada perspective?

                                 1.2.3  What  are  the  concepts  of  leadership  from  successful  leaders  in

                                 1.3.1 To investigate the concepts of leadership in Western ideas.


                                 1.3.2 To study the concepts of leadership in Theravāda perspective.

                                 1.3.3  To  analyze  the  concepts  of  leadership  from  successful  leaders  in

                       Theravāda perspective.
