1.8.1 Data Collection
Data are collected from the primary source of English translations of Tipiṭaka
scripture and Commentaries as well as sub-commentaries. Also, the secondary source
of data sues as textbooks, research works, and Buddhist journals, together with the
interpretation of leadership concept from Buddhist and modern scholars’ perspectives
is explored. This will elaborate more details in the literature review.
1.8.2 Analysis and Synthesis
Analyzing and synthesizing the raw data as well as systematizing the
collected data in order to give a clear understanding of leadership principles.
1.8.3 Outline Construction
Constructing the overall outline of the work in all related dimensions
corresponding to the objectives.
1.8.4 Problem Discussion
Discussing the problems encountered according to the significance of the
studies.
1.8.5 Conclusion and Suggestion
Formulating conclusions, identifying significant research findings, and
suggesting useful information for further research.
1.9 Advantages Expected to Obtain from the Research
This research contributes the following advantages:
1.9.1 A clear comprehension of leadership concepts both in Theravada
perspective and Western ideas.
1.9.2 Understanding deeply the roles, and practice of leadership concepts.
1.9.3 An exploration of leadership concepts will emerge for the new
generation.
