ELECTION MORNING PROCEDURES
FOR ALL ELECTION WORKERS
OPENING OF POLLS - THE POLLS MUST OPEN ON TIME!
ALL Team members must be at their assigned precinct by 5:45 a.m. on Election Day in order to set up
the room and be sworn in by the Precinct Deputy NO EXCEPTIONS!
If you are late, it places a burden on everyone and you have not fulfilled your commitment to the Team.
If something happens and you cannot work, you must call our Poll Worker Coordinator as soon as
possible, so an Alternate can be assigned to your position.
It is most important that the polling site be fully staffed.
If you show up late without calling, you will be sent home and an Alternate will work your position!
Have your area set up by 6:45 AM so the polls are open and ready for voters by 7:00 am.
The Clerk is responsible for the site opening on time.
Everyone must help set up and break down the polling site. Again everyone helps . . . TEAM WORK!
Team members with physical limitations should notify the Clerk to modify work assignments as needed.
